The Pathways School KS4 Curriculum
It is our intention that all Year 10 and Year 11 students leave with the knowledge and skills required to access either further education or work as well as the world around them. Our KS4 curriculum reflects this intention and is as follows:
Students as Pathways have the option to gain a range of qualifications including:
- Entry Level 3 English and Mathematics
- Functional Skills Level 1 & 2 English
- Functional Skills Maths and Level 1 & 2 Mathematics
- GCSE English Language
- GCSE Maths
- GCSE Biology
- Level 1 Certificate in Personal Development
- Certificate in PSHE/RSE
- GCSE Religious Education
All students experience:
- Outdoor Learning as part of the PE curriculum
- Work based placements
- Daily reading sessions
All students have the option to also choose to gain the following qualifications:
- Btec Sport Level 1
- Level 1 & 2 Certificate in Food and Cookery Skills
- Level 1 Certificate in Mentoring
